Live-in care is a far more dependable care arrangement than hourly services simply because with live-in care your loved one is never left alone. Dependable care translates to peace of mind, a benefit that frankly cannot be measured or quantified in monetary terms. Furthermore, live-in care will result in great financial savings as compared to the cost of contracting services by the hour since we charge by the day and not by the hour as do other agencies.
We charge a flat daily rate for our live-in caregivers, whereas our competitors charge for services by the hour. This makes our service far more affordable, and you end up realizing substantial savings in caring for your loved one.
Because our live-in caregivers stay 24 hours with the client, our service by its very nature is more dependable. You will have peace of mind that your loved one is never left alone. This consistency of service is not available with hourly providers.
Because our live-in caregivers stay 24 hours with the clients, they are available to provide services on a flexible basis depending on when the client wants services. In other words, the client decides when to have a bath, when to eat a meal, when to go to the toilet, etc. This flexibility is not available with hourly providers who come and go at certain set times of the day and/or night.
The needs assessment visit (NAV) is the first step in determining the optimal care plan. Our NAV is thorough and all-inclusive. We will identify the particular needs of the client. We will also examine the client’s living quarters and identify potential risk factors and advise accordingly and recommend measures to improve the safety of the premises. Further, we will discuss finances and share with the client any resources available to help fund the care expense of the loved one. We will also recommend any and all legal resources to help chart the care program moving forward into the future.
One of our care managers will set a time to come to your location, assess your living arrangements, your property, and discuss the needs of the person in need of a live-in caregiver.
