Critical Issues In Geriatrics

This event is designed for nurses and social workers to increase awareness and understanding of both clinical and social factors associated with care of the elderly. This population is unique in its needs and challenges and requires skillful, patient, and compassionate caretaking by professionals and family members alike.

Presenter: Daryoush Ekhterae, PhD

Daryoush Ekhterae PhDDr. Ekhterae is a manager at Life Force Eldercare Corporation which seeks to enhance the quality of senior living. Dr. Ekhterae has significant professional experience in training health care providers and caregivers for the elderly. He also lends a unique personal perspective, having dealt with the challenges of caregiving in his own family.
